The Role.
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing US team.  

This role is pivotal in expanding the AE Live footprint across North America by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving strategic growth across our creative, graphics and virtual production services.  

Due to the nature of this role, our business and the events we work across, a moderate level of flexibility is required including domestic travel and irregular hours, days and working some holidays.


Your Role Accountabilities.
  • Immerse yourself into the world of AE Live, learn about our solutions, expertise, capabilities and strategic priorities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple sectors, most notably the sports broadcast market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and potential clients, partners and stakeholders.  
  • Expand existing client business by identifying new revenue opportunities, negotiating and closing client arrangements.
  • Partner closely with internal teams (Creative, Operations, Engineering) to shape proposals and pitch innovative solutions.  
  • Assist the GM and CCO and in some cases lead the structure and negotiation of commercial terms including pricing, licensing and revenue agreements.  
  • Create and execute account plans including regular business reviews and operational check-ins.
  • Serve as a strategic and commercial lead for clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention and service adoption.  
  • Lead RFP responses and client presentations, ensuring alignment with AE Live’s brand and capabilities.  
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic direction.  
  • Represent AE Live at industry events, conferences and client meetings.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or client management within broadcast, media or broadcast technology/vendors.
  • Demonstrable network of key decision makers in the sports broadcast space.
  • Strong understanding of broadcast graphics, virtual production and creative workflows.  
  • 5+ years of business development, sales or strategic partnership experience. • Excellent communication and presentation skills.  
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with the ability to conceptualize complex solutions.  
  • Fluent in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook).  
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Proven aptitude for quick project solving, critical thinking, anticipating consequences, eliminating obstacles and decision-making in a fast-paced environment with demanding deadlines.
  • A commitment to high-quality work and to maintaining positive and productive relationships with team members, peers, managers, and clients.  
  • Excellent verbal communication with strong presentation skills.  
  • Ability to work collaboratively and to self-manage, working autonomously when required.  
  • The legal right to live and work in the United States.

In accordance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, location, skill set, experience and/or performance. Pay range: $85,000 – $125,000 salary per year, plus potential for on-target commission.
