AE Live delivers a smash hit at BWF World Championships
AE Live provided match graphics and augmented reality services for the 2026 BWF World Championships in New Delhi, supporting coverage of badminton's flagship tournament.
Over seven days of competition, the championships brought together many of the world's top players as they competed for world titles in singles and doubles. Alongside match graphics and live scoring, AE Live delivered a range of augmented reality elements used throughout the broadcast, including match idents, tournament results, route-to-the-final graphics and coming-up sequences.
The AR graphics complemented the broadcast package and helped showcase the scale of the event, giving viewers additional context as the tournament progressed. Player profiles were combined with AR tournament results, draw graphics and upcoming match information, helping audiences follow the key stories and performances from New Delhi as the championships moved towards the finals.
With World Champions crowned across all five disciplines, the tournament concluded after a week of high-quality competition and memorable performances from some of badminton's biggest names.
The BWF World Championships were the latest project in a busy year for AE Live across the sporting calendar. From international championships and major tournaments to live studio programming, AE Live continues to support some of the world's biggest sporting events with broadcast graphics and augmented reality services.
